About the book
Michael Christiansen and Rebecca Laird compiled and wove together original material of Henri Nouwen (class notes, sermons, lectures, articles etc.) to create this first book in a trilogy. Michael and Rebecca encourage reading through the book twice - the first more quickly as an overview and the second time slowly and meditatively.
The second book in the trilogy, Spiritual Formation, will be discussed in October.
The third book in the trilogy, Discernment, will be discussed in November.
